If you’ve been using SimpleMoney since early 2017, you probably know that we used to have an Equities tracking feature in beta. It was, and still continues to be, one our most requested features. However, on the bugginess scale of 1 to Pestilential, we were further away from 1 than we liked to be. Looking at inaccurate information about investments is not a fun user experience, so we removed the feature and focused on improving it.
And now, we’re back with Equities tracking! Over the past six months, we have worked on improving the issues that many of you faced earlier, and are excited for you to try it out.
We understand that this might not be the best time to take a look at the value of your stocks, but if you do have any Equities investments, try clicking on the “Today” tab under “Equities” on the selection menu of your SimpleMoney account.
While the Equities tracking feature is still rudimentary compared to SimpleMoney’s Mutual Fund tracking, we are working hard to ensure that we add more features that are useful to you - features that will help you get accurate and important information about your portfolio so that you know how to align your investments with your financial goals and the market.
If you have any feedback or suggestions about Equities tracking, or if you’re worried about the financial markets and just need a sympathetic friend to talk to, please write to us at [email protected].
Track your mutual funds and equities automatically at SimpleMoney.
